Laura has been a licensed stylist since early 2009. She originally planned to be a music teacher and after four semesters knew she wanted to go in a different direction so she enrolled at the National Academy of Beauty Arts. After school, she found her passion as a colorist and naturally curly hair specialist. She has invested many hours taking advanced classes in color theory, foil highlighting, balayage, and curly hair cutting. After 12 years as a stylist, she took a leap of faith with Lauren Bernardino and opened RAEN Color Studio!

 

Her favorite products include Loreal Professional, Olaplex, Brazillian Blowout, and Mizani for her curly girls!

 

Laura was born and raised in St. Louis. She has been married to her husband John since 2002 and they have 2 daughters Zoë and Piper. They also have a few fur babies! When she’s not at the salon, Laura spends her time with her family, leading a Girl Scout troop, going to church, and binge-watching Netflix!
