They built it on trust, laughter, and a vision bigger than either of them alone.
It’s the kind of partnership where ideas turn into action, and dreams turn into a studio full of light, color, and confidence.

Laura
Laura has been a licensed stylist since early 2009. She originally planned to be a music teacher, and after four semesters, knew she wanted to go in a different direction so she enrolled at the National Academy of Beauty Arts. After school, she found her passion for color and naturally curly hair. She has invested many hours in advanced classes in color theory, foil highlighting, balayage, and curly-hair cutting. After 12 years as a stylist, she took a leap of faith with Lauren Bernardino and opened RAEN Color Studio!
Laura uses ID Hair’s color line, which includes a traditional permanent color as well as an ammonia-free and ppd free permanent line. She also uses Oligo Blacklight for blonding and always adds Olaplex to any lightning service. Her favorite products for her curly girls include Rikoko, Kenra Platinum, and Ouidad!
Laura was born and raised in St. Louis. She has been married to her husband John since 2002 and they have 2 daughters Zoë and Piper. They also have a few fur babies! When she’s not at the salon, Laura spends her time with her family, leading a Girl Scout troop, going to church, and binge-watching Netflix!
Sally
Sally Bickhaus is a dedicated hairstylist with over 30 years of experience, known for her creativity, consistency, and genuine care for every guest.
A lifelong St. Louis resident, she has built her career on connection—helping people feel confident, refreshed, and truly themselves. She loves working with L’Oréal products and stays inspired through ongoing education alongside the talented team at Raen Color Studio, proudly serving the community she calls home.
Sally has been happily married for over 30 years and is the proud mother of two grown sons, holding close the memory of her daughter. Her life experiences shape the compassionate, down-to-earth approach she brings behind the chair.

Jill
Born and raised in St. Louis, Jill has been a licensed hair stylist for over 25 years. She specializes in women’s hair, particularly color, highlights, and customized cuts, but also has extensive experience with men’s and children’s styles.
Jill’s favorite lines are L’Oréal Professional, Aretgo, and Matrix.
Jill is a wife and a mom to two amazing kids, Morgan and Ethan. She strives to make her clients feel at ease in her chair. Jill loves hearing what is new in her clients' lives or catching up on the latest shows that they are both binging! If you are looking to try something new, Jill is the stylist for you!

Katie
With 20+ years of experience behind the chair, I still love what I do. I focus on creating hair that feels natural, easy to manage, and fits your everyday life.
In 2026, I joined Raen Color Studio, where I maintain a referral-only clientele. This approach allows me to give each guest my full attention and deliver a highly personalized experience built on trust and long-term relationships.
My focus is not just on great hair, but on helping clients feel confident and truly seen every time they sit in my chair.
My goal is to make sure you leave feeling like the best version of yourself.

Lauren
Lauren has been in the hair industry since graduating from the National Academy of Beauty Arts in 2012. Previous to that she attended Missouri State University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
After graduating and not having much luck finding a teaching job, Lauren decided to pursue a career doing what she’s always been passionate about – hair and makeup!
Born and raised here in St. Louis, Lauren is a wife to June (married in 2012) and a mom to two amazing kids, Aja and Aiden. Lauren specializes in color, including but not limited to, balayage, blonding, lived-in color, and dimensional color. She values the integrity of your hair first and foremost and uses only the best products to keep your hair healthy and strong.
Some of her favorite product lines include IDHair North America, OligoPro, Olaplex, Brazillian Blowout, Ouidad, and Kenra Professional. Lauren believes thorough consultations are vitally important and is happy to sit down and talk to you about your ultimate hair goals!
Jamie
Jamie is a lifelong St. Louisan, and proud city resident. She loves older homes and currently lives in the Shaw neighborhood with her husband, rescue pup, and two children. Being a mama is truly her favorite role in life!
Jamie can’t remember a time when she didn’t love “playing” with hair. She has distinct memories of giving her Barbie doll a cropped cut, and even trimming friends’ bangs in her bathroom in grade school.
Jamie has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005. She specializes in women’s hair, with a particular interest in color, while maintaining the hair’s health and integrity. As techniques in the hair industry constantly evolve, Jamie LOVES attending hands-on classes, or even just watching video tutorials from her bed. She has knowledge of several product lines including Id Hair North America, Kevin Murphy, Olaplex, and Redken.
Jamie’s favorite part of being a stylist is building relationships with her clients and fellow stylists. With a background in social work and psychology, she could listen to people’s life stories and day-to-day trials for hours! Seeing the confidence boost her clients have when they feel great about their hair is just the icing on the cake!
Jennifer
After graduating from Saint Louis University, Jennifer chose to pursue hr true passion - becoming a stylist. With over 30 years of experience as a licensed professional, she has built a career rooted in both creativity and continued education. After completing her training at a Toni & Guy Academy, she spent seven years working in a Toni & Guy salon, refining her craft.
Jennifer has also trained directly under Lorraine Massey, author of Curly Girl: The Handbook, deepening her expertise in curly hair care. She continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education and holds multiple additional certifications.
Some of her favorite product lines include Kevin Murphy, Leaf & Flower, and Brazilian Blowout.
